Orientation & Registration for Swim Lessons!
We are excited to invite the community to sign up for our learn to swim; drowning prevention program!
Where: University of Toledo Scott Park Campus, Room 1080C
Why: Our learn to swim program provides more than just "swimming lessons". We provide water safety education to prevent drowning. PLEASE BRING THE STUDENTS TO CLASS!!
The Josh Project, was founded in memory of John-Joshua Butts who drowned at the age of 16. He had never had a swimming lesson nor did he know how to be safe while in and around water. We created this organization in order to prevent other families from learning the hard way about drowning prevention.
We welcome children ages 6-16 and their parents/guardians to attend this educational session and participate in our drowning prevention swim lessons. Water safety is important and FUN!
The first session of the season will begin June 20, 2017 @ 7pm. Due to space limitations, there are only 60 slots available. We will fill slots on a first-come, first served basis.
